About Me
I am a graduate of Leadership Gainesville Class 18, a past president of LGAA and I was a green. I also assisted Leadership Gainesville as the Dean of class 24 and 25 and served as Director of the Leadership Program for classes 26, 27 and 28.
I believe in giving back to the community and have served on numerous nonprofit boards and committees. I was appointed by Governor Charlie Crist as the Chair of the Early Learning Coalition of Alachua County where I have has served on the board and held leadership positions since 1999.
I am a member and past president of the Kiwanis Club of Gainesville. I was president of Girls Place and served as a board member for six years and was the recipient of the Board Member of the year award in 2008. I am also a past board member and past president of Alachua Habitat for Humanity.
I am married to Dr. Kenneth W. Knopf, a dentist at Millhopper Family Dentistry and between us we have four children.
