LGAA Member-Only Programs

Tiger Bay Forum

Tiger Bay is a fully interactive luncheon where members and their guests can ask speakers about their work, opinions or anything of interest. Members of the media are not allowed in the meeting for the purpose of reporting.

The person asking the toughest or most insightful question, as deemed by our panel of judges, gets to take home Ellgee A. Alumnus, the LGAA mascot that is signed by all of our speakers in the Tiger Bay series. The only condition is that the winner brings Ellgee back to the next Tiger Bay Forum. At the end of each year Ellgee is awarded permanently to the winner with the best question asked for the year.

Power Lunch

The “Power Lunch” is a series of lunch forums to find innovative solutions to controversies and challenges in our community. This forum is an interactive working session. Results of these luncheons are presented to our community leaders and possible working committees will be formed to initiate these resolutions.
