About Me
Scott Costello is the owner of Advantage Publishing and publisher of HOME: Living in the Heart of Florida, North Central Florida's Leading Community/Lifestyle Publication. He also publishes Building Trends Magazine, a trade magazine for the local construction industry and the founder of Taste of HOME, a charity event for local non-profits.

Scott was a member of LG 35, dean of LG 36 and joined the board of LGAA in 2009 upon graduating the Leadership Gainesville program.


Scott serves on a number of boards around Alachua County, including LGAA, Child Advocacy Center, Alachua County Public Schools Foundation and the Builders Association of North Central Florida.

In 2008, HOME Magazine was honored by the Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce as New Business of the Year. In 2009, GACAR (Gainesville Alachua County Assn of Realtors) honored Scott with the James M. Parrish Community Leadership Award and in 2010, the Gainesville Chamber recognized Scott as the Volunteer of the Year.

Scott has been married to his wife Jennifer for 11 years and has two daughters, Taylor and Lindsay.
