Our Four Cornerstones
Our four councils are the backbone, indeed the cornerstones, of LGAA. The overall organization's effectiveness is a direct result of our councils' work. Council meetings are open to all LGAA members. If you have an idea, question, or simply want to get involved, this should be your first stop.
Council of Advisors
LGAA’s Council of Advisors consists of dedicated LGAA members who offer guidance, advice and leadership in support of the LGAA Board and their mission. LGAA Council of Advisors attend quarterly meetings with the LGAA Board, serve as liaison to individual LG Classes to inspire participation, support and communication, participate in LGAA events, use their influence to help LGAA acquire community support as needed. Membership & Communications Council
The Membership & Social Council is responsible for communication and outreach to our current and past members of LGAA. Additionally, we are charged with hosting periodic socials and other events to help alumni reconnect and network.

Community Action Council
The LGAA Community Action Council is tasked with engaging and coordinating LGAA members' experiences and networks to seek additional knowledge, consensus, and results to community-wide challenges. The Community Action Council's goals are achieved through (but not limited to) Gator Bay, Power Lunches, and Member Education.

Community Relations Council
Community Relations lead's LGAA's efforts to serve the community by acting as an incubator for LG class projects; facilitating and reviewing all LGAA grants and scholarships; documenting all class projects, LGAA community events, and LGAA events; & supporting LGAA in all community efforts.
